About
So, you’ve found my blog, thanks for dropping in. In essence my life juggles around work, family & racing. I’ve been a fan of Motorsport since I was walking. My Dad was a successful clubman racer winning the MG Modified Midgets Championship in 1978. I was 3…. Since then I’ve been a huge fan, from watching it on television all hours of the day and night, to when I finally became a racer myself in 2008. I’ve gone on to reasonable success since in the Caterham R300 series with 9 outright r300 victories and 15 podiums in total since the series started in 2009. 2011 was a great year, 6 wins, 11 podiums, 2 pole positions, a broken wrist and a lot of fun.
It came down to the final race at Silverstone, but Jamie Orton took the honours but second place was secured. 2012 we start a fresh, a lot wiser and with a different team, DPR Motorsport. The blog will chart the highs and lows of racing as well as mixing in other series, normally the comings and goings of F1.
I’m a big fan of photography and videography. Fortunately my brother is freelance sports photographer and can provide no end of high quality photos. I also run 2 video cameras on the car to record what goes on front and back.
